Our dry hire Studios can accommodate just about any kind of television production or event. We can point you in the right direction should you be interested in finding equipment, lighting and technicians, through our network. Our sound Studios 1,2,3 are perfectly suited for TV Productions such as Soapies, telenovela’s, series, gameshows, cooking shows and commercials. Studio 4 is our versatile day light studio suitable for day light shoot, screenings, fashion shows, conferences, meetings, just to count a few. ABOUT US
FROM BREAD-MAKING TO FILM-MAKING: A BRIEF HISTORY
Through careful design, the former Atlas Bakery (originally built as the headquarters for Coca Cola South Africa in 1951) has been turned into an outstanding studio environment. Many original features have been retained: Old chimneys, stainless steel floors, industrial signage, window frames and an expansive span of concrete vaulted roofs, which not only isolate airborne noise efficiently but also give the building a distinctive look.
Along with thick walls to cut out noise from outside, floating concrete floors and multiple walls have been added to improve internal acoustics. Our facilities are guaranteed to satisfy the most discerning sound engineer.
Designed with people in mind, the dressing rooms, make-up, wardrobe and resting areas have been conveniently positioned close to the studios. Such attention to detail and convenience makes the working experience both comfortable and efficient.
